If you are unable to hear the music then the first thing to check is whether the problem is restricted to web animations or whether it is more widespread and affects other music also. Please click on the following link, which will download and play an MP3 file containing a short piece of music. If you can hear "Deck the Halls" then the problem must be something to do with your Flash Player: please click here for further instructions. If you cannot hear "Deck the Halls", then the problem is not just our e-cards, but all MP3 music files. Please check that your speakers are plugged into your computer (if applicable), and make sure that the speakers are switched on and that the volume control on the speakers themselves is turned up full. Click the Start button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, then click Control Panel (if available), or click Settings first, followed by Control Panel. Find and double-click the entry called Sounds, or Sounds and Multimedia, or Sounds and Audio Devices (it varies according to which version of Windows you are using). There should be a tab marked Volume. Make sure that the slider is at maximum and that the Mute option is not checked. Click the Advanced button, and make sure that all sliders are at maximum and that none of the Mute options are checked. If after making these changes you still cannot hear the music, you may need to consult a specialist to determine why you are unable to hear MP3 music files. If you would like personal assistance with your enquiry, please select "no" and the next page will then show a form on which to submit your query. Click here to go back to previous page
