Nothing happens when I click the Send Card (or Preview Card) button |
If the Send Card button works OK, but nothing happens when you click the Preview Card button, then please click here for instructions.
If the Send Card and Preview Card buttons on the Send Card page do not seem to have any effect, please try the following:
First, check if there are any error messages being shown in orange near the top of the page. For example, if you typed an email address incorrectly, you will not be able to send the card and a message will be shown to explain why.
If this does not explain the problem, click at the bottom of the page where it says "If the Send Card button has no effect, please click here to switch to a plain HTML version of this form." This will show a slightly different version of the Send Card page. Try sending your card from this version of the page.
If the simplified version of the page works and the first version does not, then the problem is with your Flash Player. Please follow the instructions here to re-install your Flash Player - these instructions were designed for the recipients of cards rather than the sender, but the overall approach to solving the problem is much the same.
Netscape users! There is a problem with Netscape which means that if you include an apostrophe (') in your message then the Send Card and Preview Card buttons will not work. We're working on a way of working around this problem. In the meantime, please omit apostrophes from your message.
