Before allowing you to send a card or add an address to your address book, our system checks the "domain" of the recipient. The domain is the bit after the @ sign. We check to make sure that we are able to communicate with that domain and that it has the facility to receive e-mail. A special type of computer called a DNS Server is used to look up these details. This is designed to cut down on the large number of delivery failures caused by people typing addresses incorrectly. Very occasionally, it may be that the domain you have entered is correct but that the DNS server is out of date or not available. If that happens, please try again a bit later.
