Back in the year 2000, Jacquie Lawson, an English artist living in the picturesque village of Lurgashall in southern England, created a Christmas ecard featuring her dog and cats and her 15th-century cottage, and sent it to friends and family. To her amazement she was inundated with requests for from all over the world to design more. Thus, jacquielawson.com was born.
Over 600 cards later, our collection features everything from cats, dogs, and teddies, to floral designs, cakes and sports! The artwork is mostly hand-drawn and painted before being scanned, animated and paired with carefully chosen music.
