Northern Lights, Merry Christmas

Dear Cheryl and Ed, Thank you for your Christmas email and photos. I enjoyed your letter updating your family events. Belated Happy 70th Birthday greetings Cheryl! I am glad to hear that Ed has recovered from his cycling fall. Also glad to hear that your employer has been supportive in extending your benefit coverage. It was wonderful that Erika and Emily were able to attend your mother's 95th birthday celebration. You must miss them very much when they are so far away. Congratulations to Erika and her fiance on their engagement. At the moment I am in California visiting Sarah and family and staying until January 17th. I arrived last Saturday and have been on the go ever since and this afternoon is the first down time I have had so I am finally sending Christmas greetings. Sarah's little girl Boadicea just turned 7 in October and her twin boys , Otto and Jules, are 4 and a half so it is a very busy household. In Australia I am also busy with Margit and Dave's twins, Asta and Guy who will be 7 in January since I care for them two days a week before and after school. On two of the other week days I have been helping Catherine who had her second baby Julius last March. Her first little boy, Laszlo is now 3 and a half. She is just starting to return to work at the Sydney Botanical Gardens. Have a great visit with your Ottawa family! Best wishes for a terrific and healthy 2026! Hugs, Marion
