You must have been to Las Vegas by now? How was it? As good as it always is? What shows did you see? And how is the new bungalow coming along? Don't tell me it's all built and you are moved in and that my life has flashed by me so quickly this year? We had a day trip to London on the coach organised by the sports & social club McVitie's where I used to work - £5 each! It absolutely poured with rain all day long. We took shelter in a nice hotel near to the theatre we were going to and had ourselves a drink. I had a Gin Austen and Andrew a small speciality cider because he wouldn't pay the £26 they were asking for a cocktail. It was a nice day out regardless of the rain. What's your plans for Xmas? We have quite a few Christmas lunches to go to with friends, groups and clubs and the first of these was last Thursday. A few days before the big day we will meet up with Andrew's children, partners and grandchildren to go out for a meal , all 11 of us, where we will exchange Secret Santa gifts. On Christmas Day there will just be the two of us: peaceful and quiet. And that's it, it will all be over. I know, Bah Humbug!!
