2025 has been an interesting year. Darcy and I travelled from north to south, spending time in New Zealand, Antartica and Australia in the south and Iceland, the Scottish Isles and England in the north. Wonderful trips and good to escape the mayhem that best describes North America these days. Annie continues to thrive in Barcelona, with business trips to Mexico, Costa Rica and one coming up in Maui. She is spending Christmas with friends and heading to Paris on Boxing Day so enjoying all that Europe has to offer. Jack continues to work in Maple Creek, but we are lucky to have him a couple of times a month for a visit and game or two (or three) of Catan. Darcy just sits back and watches with bemusement as Jack and I try to take over the world. We are considerably more competitive at gaming than Darcy and Annie, but it's great fun. Christmas will be spend with Uncle Mike and his gang in Brooks on Christmas Eve. Jack will come down for Christmas Supper here in the Hat and then I plan to veg from Christmas till New Years. We have family visiting on 3 January so it should be a period of wonderful happiness. Next year has us travelling to the Caribbean, the Amazon and back to Africa. So the moss is not settling under our feet just yet. In between travels we continue to be politically active. Never thought I would spend my retirement protesting!
