Good morning Derren This ecard reminds me of new beginnings and in context I feel May 25 th 2018 gave you the wonderful opportunity to re-start your life by the gracious act from an anonymous family to donate a kidney from a loved one . The final months of 2023 and most of 2024 were undoubtedly a tremendous challenge mentally and physically given the overwhelming health issues you were battling with but on this particular anniversary date of your donor kidney I share with you that this gift stood the rigors of the complex medical conditions demanding hospitalization for such a long timeline . Now that your life has returned to a wonderful rhythm and good health this years anniversary is even more celebratory . I know you are deeply grateful to have received a donor kidney and every single day take great care of this precious gift . A remarkable outcome for everyone . Look after yourself . Take care .
