Hi Katie, thank you for your card. I've surprised myself in that I am as prepared as I'm going to be for Christmas apart from the last minute food items. Brussels Sprouts are apparently in short supply this year, not that that particularly bothers me. On Monday I've organised Christmas dinner for five residents (friends) and myself at a local pub. What are you doing for Christmas? Will you be getting together for a "Family Christmas? Hogmanay and the New Year will see me lock the door, put a plateful of nibbles beside me, open a bottle of wine and watch repeats of Rikki Fulton, Rab C. Nesbitt and Ally Bain and Phil Cunningham before taking a wee dram and heading to bed! These southerners haven't got a clue how to see in the New Year in style, and I cannae get black bun down here either!
